One of the types of depression is called major depression or most commonly known as clinical depression. When a person is affected by this depression, he/she gets into the state of gloom and all sad. There is a specific type of depression that only affects mothers who are under the state of depression after they give birth to their child – this type of depression is called postpartum depression.

Overall, it can be deduced that depression is a broad sickness. Whatever the type of depression, cure becomes important. Hence, treatment could be obtained by means of medication or may even be obtained by means of psychotherapy treatments.
